Get closer to your desire and goals

Despite our best efforts, our motivation to keep working towards our goals can drop from time to time. The good news is that with the right tools you can achieve your dream. 

Whatever motivation you need to get started, is the most important part for reaching your goal.
Motivation is this invisible force that drives you toward a goal and keeps you going when things get rough, it is the reason you wake up early or stay up late to finish your work.  

There are plenty of ways to encourage yourself to stay on track. You must have a clear plan of what you want to do and what is important to you. Write down the things you want to accomplish and what you want your life to reflect. Hold on to it and keep it somewhere in clear view. Working on your goals may require a lot of work and sometimes things can become overwhelming. Just stay strong and don't give up. Eliminate negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones. What you need is daily inspiration to keep you going (Affirmations).

Affirmations are a wonderful tool. I recommend you spend 10-15 minutes several times a day doing your affirmations.
Write them down and repeat them as often as possible. Remember, every thought you think and every word you say is an affirmation.
Positive affirmations allow you to develop a positive mindset, they are one of the most powerful strategies in life to help you get closer to your desire and confidence.

This is one of the most important ways to keep you focused on your goal. Find the time to practice positive thinking daily.
Once you know what you are working toward, you can decide which things in your life contribute toward those goals and which ones take away.

The importance of hugs

We all need a hug sometimes.
No matter what our age or our position in life, we all need to feel safe. A hug has the power to make us feel safe, good, but it also relieves pain, depression and anxiety.
Reaching out and touching someone, holding them tightly, is a way of saying that you care. 

So, from today give a hug.

Peace of mind

One day Buddha was walking from one town to another with a few of his followers. 
While they were travelling, they happened to pass a lake. They stopped and Buddha told one of his followers, ''I am thirsty. Do get me some water from that lake please.''
The follower walked up to the lake. When he reached it, he noticed that some people were washing clothes in the water and right at that moment, a bullock cart started crossing through the lake. As a result, the water became very muddy, very turbid. 
The follower thought, ''How can I give this muddy water to Buddha to drink!''
So he came back and told Buddha, ''The water in there is very muddy. I don’t think it is good to drink.''

After about half an hour again, Buddha asked the same follower to go back to the lake and get him some water to drink. The follower obediently went back to the lake. 
This time he found that the lake had absolutely clear water in it. The mud had settled down and the water above it looked clear. 
So he collected some water in a pot and brought it to Buddha.
Buddha looked at the water, then he looked up at the follower and said, ''See what you did to make the water clean. You let it be ... and the mud settled down on its own – and you got clear water... 
Your mind is also like that. When it is disturbed, just let it be. Give it a little time. It will settle down on its own. You don’t have to put in any effort to calm it down. It will happen. It is effortless.''

The moral of this story is:
Real peace of mind is the companion of the silence of the mind. You get peace of mind not by thinking about it or imagining it, but by quietening and relaxing the restless mind.

I love when it rains

Do you love when it rains? 
Since Monday it has been cold and raining a lot. Some people don't like it, but I love when it rains.

For me it seems as it with rain everything bad washes away, all problems, worries.
Especially when it is raining a lot, it is so refreshing and very relaxing.
Feeling the rain, walking in the rain, hearing it and seeing it, really washes away all the stress.
It feel so good. 
My favorite thing is to light up my scented candle, make a big, hot, cup of coffee and write.
Rain is my muse and I find it to be very peaceful and inspirational.

Does bad weather affect your motivation and get you down?
If rainy days get you down, think positively and surround yourselves with positive people.
A rainy day may leave you with terrible hair and a bad mood, but it doesn't have to be that way.
Try and listen, there's just something soothing about the sound of rain.
Next time it rains, try making an amazing day in. Stay in bed, watch movies, drink hot chocolate (coffee or tea), learn to love the rain.

Which direction do you choose?

Being positive or negative are habits of thoughts that have a very strong influence on life.
The way we think, the words we say, the way we act, it's all affect our life.
Has it ever happened to you ... you talked about something or complained about something many times and boom ... suddenly it became true.

We spend our lives reacting to events and many times that's when things start to go wrong. 
You have to be careful whenever you are feeling down. When you are upset your thoughs take over and you might say words you don't mean to. Next time, the same situation happen again and you do the same thing over and over.
Do not let circumstances influence your thoughts and moods.
When you feel down, this is the time to visualize, think and expect the positive.

The law of attraction states that we are all made up of energies that vibrate according to the quality of our thoughts and emotions we concentrate on the most. Next time when you feel like to argue, try to use positive thinking. Stop for a while and say to yourself some positive affirmations. Believe in the power of your thoughts.
