Few years ago back I started a new job in the office. It was a very small place, actually our team was built from 3 people. And of course the owners, but they were hardly there.
My boss and my colleague were amazing and I'm so happy I had a chance to meet such a great people.
After working there for a while I met the owners.
''What is your name?'' the owner lady asked me.
''My name is Dusana,'' I replied.
''Say it again?''
''My name is Dusana,'' I repeated.
''Well, I cannot say it, so I'm gonna call you Sophie.''
''But my name is Dusana.''
''I really cannot say it, nice to meet you Sophie, you can go back to work now.''
With those words she walked away. I stood there in shock, not knowing what to say.
I couldn't believe it, I was angry, but the owner lady was very old and I didn't want to be rude.
I was young, started my new job, so what to do?
When she came next time I tried to correct her, but doesn't matter how many times I tried, she kept calling me Sophie.
That was a long time ago. I decided to let go. To let go does not mean to stop caring, it means I can’t do it for someone else. To let go is not to care for, but to care about.
Everyone is important, no matter what age they are, or what country they are from. We are all the same and we should always respect each other.
Attitude, after all, is everything. Be kinder than necessary for everyone you meet, live simply, love generously, care
deeply and speak kindly.
If we appreciate each other, then we have a chance for something great.
If we appreciate each other, then we have a chance for something great.

I would also love to share with you this story just to remind you once again that everyone is important.
Please, enjoy the story!
Do you know her name?

During Mark's first month of college, the professor gave his students a
pop quiz. He was a observant student and had breezed through the
questions, until he read the last one:
"What is the first name of the
woman who cleans the school?"
Surely this was some kind of joke. He had
seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in
her 50s, but how would he know her name? He handed in his paper, leaving
the last question blank.
Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would
count toward the quiz grade. "Absolutely," said the professor.
"In your
careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They each
deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say
'hello'".
Mark never forgot that lesson. He also learned her name was
Dorothy.
